They did have us back for Noon Year's Eve 2014!

Santa Monica Library

The Boo Hoo Crew gave a lively performance at the Santa Monica Public Library this week (June 24th). They had kids and parents dancing up a storm, with bubbles flying and props galore. Everybody loved their catchy songs and we got a lot of compliments after the show. They are the perfect act for wiggly little ones. I recommend getting their CD (which a lot of parents did afterwards) for those times when the kids want to shake their booties! Thanks guys, we had a blast!

Christa Muscatine Youth Services Librarian, Santa Monica Public Library

Christa did go on to recommend us for the Santa Monica Library Pico Branch Grand Opening Celebration in 2014.

Katy Geissert Civic Center Library

The Boo Hoo Crew performed at the Katy Geissert Civic Center Library on September 21st for our Musical Morning program. Nearly 100 people, including 51 children accompanied by 48 adults enjoyed their interactive, energetic show. The Boo Hoo Crew filled the library meeting room with merriment, singing pirate songs, songs about sea creatures, and other original songs as well as variations on classics such as “Old Macdonald” and “I’m a Little Teapot.” There was dancing, bubbles, children wearing squid hats and pirate hats, and, of course, singing! The songs were funny and fun, and included a vowel game—what a great way to sneak in a lesson! This was a creative, well-thought out performance that seemed effortless and natural. Clint....seemed to be having the time of his life, and his enthusiasm was contagious. Thank you so, so much! I hope to see you here at the library again (soon!)

Yorba Linda Public Library

What a thrilling and interactive musical experience. The only thing that made us cry 'Boo Hoo' was having The Boo Hoo Crew wrap up his high-energy romp and say 'good bye.' It is only 'good-bye' ‘til next time Boo Hoo Crew – we can’t wait to have you back.

Amy P., Librarian, Yorba Linda Public Library

Temecula Library

The Boo Hoo Crew were a huge hit with the preschool crowd at the library. Their original songs were packed with total kid appeal, audience participation and infectious fun. Thank you, The Boo Hoo Crew for a truly outstanding show. The Boo Hoo Crew Rocks!

Ginger Safstrom, Youth Services Coordinator, Temecula Public Library

Needless, to say, they've had us back twice and the rest of the Temecula Valley has booked us too!

And the list goes on...

"Clint, just want to say Thank You.. to you, and your amazing CREW for doing a superb job! You made Nadira's party come to life. All the parents & kids loved you!! You made the birthday party extra special by being there. I've received so many great comments from parents about your band & you unbelievable performance. Thank you again, and please let your CREW know how Appreciative we are for everything you guys did in making Nadira's party so magical!!" - Mary & Tracy Conroy, from a Private Birthday on November 18th, 2012

"Thank you so much for performing at Jake’s Birthday today! He had an absolute blast – and the show was fantastic. Thank you for doing what you do… I just wish I had my camera ready when Jake left behind his unopened presents to give you that hug when you were leaving – that was so precious and absolutely his own doing.” – Marisa Thompson, from a Private Birthday on June 9th, 2012

“Thanks so much for playing at Andrew’s 2nd birthday party! It was so entertaining for the kids and the adults! It was great to see the kids marching around the room with you and having so much fun. I even saw some of my family members get up and dance to your Pirate Booty song (and I’ve never seen them dance before, so it was hilarious!). Thanks also for staying longer to play the guitar while we did the piñata. I had so many great comments and feedback in the weeks following the party…everyone commented how much they enjoyed your performance. I think it was the hit of the party! Andrew’s favorite shirt is still his black “Boo Hoo shirt,” even after all these weeks! Thanks again…you were great” – Julie McCauley, from a Private Birthday in April, 2012

Baby Alice and I belong to San Marcos Babies Crawl Rattle ‘n Roll.  A couple of weeks ago Miss Amy planned a wonderful Mother’s Day Celebration and for the entertainment?? Clint Perry & The Boo Hoo Crew. OH MY GOSH!!  Talk about great entertainment!! Clint had a room full of mesmerized tots!!  Alice was in AWE!!  Watching the little faces light up you couldn’t help but smile. Clint Perry & The Boo Hoo Crew is engaging fun. Clint draws in the toddlers, babies and us adults too. The room is full of kids swaying and dancing, wearing hats, holding stuffed animals and the whole time Clint is laughing, singing, playing the guitar (sometimes with tot’s help) walking through the room……. all that and not stepping on a single crawling baby!!  (Seriously! The room was packed!! Clint has to have eyes in the back of his head!! There is NO other explanation!!) – Connie Gruning, peanutbutterandwhine.com, May 25th, 2012

“If there is one kid’s show to see in San Diego it’s definitely Clint Perry & The Boo Hoo Crew. They are just entertainment, they are super-entertainment!” – Michelle Bayer, Founder of Meetup Group North San Diego Babies, March 31st, 2012.

Our Assistant Manager, Rhea Wilson, wrote this about her fun morning at the store: “Another AMAZING, FUN morning at BABY VIE!!!!….I watched in total delight as about 20 cutie pie toddlers danced to the funny tunes of CLINT PERRY and the BOO HOO Crew!! As he and MS. SUSAN, our AWESOME story time “celeb”, shared the stage with such giggle maker songs as “TEDDY BEAR MARCH” and the “SHAKE your PIRATE BOOTY”, plus fun, animated story telling…it was a FUN TIME had by ALL…have no idea what i did to deserve this little piece of heaven….Baby Vie!” Thank you Clint and thank you Baby Vie friends for being so awesome!  You all really do make our job joy! – Rhea Wilson, Baby Vie, March 23rd, 2012

“We loved having you at Charlotte’s birthday party in February!!!  She may possibly be the Boo Hoo Crew’s biggest fan, so it was a dream come true for her to have Mr. Clint play her favorite songs LIVE for all of her family and friends! (while she ran in circles in her purple princess dress…:) The girls AND the boys AND the parents all enjoyed the music.  Thank you Boo Hoo Crew for making Charlotte’s day so special!
” ….Sonja – From her daughter’s 3rd Birthday, February 11th, 2012

“Catchy, educational (mostly), fun and all together AWESOME!” – Jango Airplay Fan - Just a Typical Dame(Feb 20, 2012)

“Hi Clint, I just want to thank you again!  Your performance truly exceeded my expectations…the children loved the music, they loved the interaction songs, and it shows that you love what you do, you were great with the kids!  Thank you for helping in creating great pictures and memories at Mia ‘s 1st Birthday! PS: She’s been ROCKING OUT to your cd every day since  ” … Claudia & Matt – From a Private Birthday Party on December 10th, 2011

“This silly band and storytelling troupe brings out the giggles in everyone with its songs and whimsical tales. The San Diego-based quartet is comprised of musicians who are all parents, plus a gifted writer with a penchant for clever songwriting.”

“Today Clint Perry played at the Old California Coffee House in San Marcos where he plays at 9:30am every 2nd and 4th Thursday. This father of 3 boys has written some fun songs for kids. They are upbeat, catchy and have positive messages.”

“Thank you to everyone who came to see Clint Perry this morning. It was raging. “
- Tiffany Golden, Art Soup, Facebook (Nov 11, 2011)

“We had Clint Perry come to the Poway branch to do storytime. He is a local author. He let the kids strum his guitar, he gave out shirts to his best helpers, he interacted with both the children and parents, and he did a great job all around…. He sings a lot of songs about kids helping out parents by cleaning and listening; they are fun and get the kids to sing and move around.”
- Danielle Clayton, Big Box Program (Mar 13, 2011)

“…It’s perfectly good…”
- Robbie Schaefer, Kids Place Live (Aug 01, 2011)

“Clint Perry and the Boo Hoo Crew is a band of children’s music here locally in San Diego. Clint Perry plays at local kids hot spots, libraries, birthday parties etc. So Will and I went to check him out at The Cal Coffee in San Marcos where he sings and read stories 2 Thursday mornings each month. The crowd here consisted of many 1 and 2 year olds (likely because many older children were in school)… I enjoyed his songs. They are easy for adults to listen to too. I was impressed by how he knew so many of the kids names and he showed a genuine care for children…” – Gina Wilson, Create and Play Each Day (blogspot) (Oct 27, 2011)

“Clint gave an excellent performance for the children at Miramar. His lively program is loaded with songs, dancing, stories, and laughing. Children can’t help but dance along to Clint’s guitar playing. I will be inviting Clint for another visit soon.” Thanks Clint! Kolea- Miramar Station Library (Jan 3, 2011)
